With its creative, unfussy East/West fusion dishes and modern, minimalist décor, it's small wonder that Sohoites have been flocking in their droves to So Restaurant in Warwick Street.
This summer, So Restaurant's owner Tetsuro Hama is giving his regulars another reason to celebrate with the opening of a brilliant new upstairs sushi bar.
Presided over by one of Japan's leading sushi chefs, So Sushi will follow in the footsteps of the main restaurant by using fresh organic produce wherever possible.
Dishes will include such house favourites as Chirashizushi (a selection of prawns, salmon, crabmeat, eel, shiso and salmon ikura served on a bed of rice) and Crab Spider Rolls (soft shell crab fried tempura style and wrapped in sushi rice served with spicy mayonnaise). These knockout dishes will be accompanied by a great selection of sake, shochu and an exclusive selection of teas by IPPODO, one of Japan's oldest and most respected brands.
