Already a market leader in the travel guide market, Dorling Kindersley is set to consolidate its position still further with the February launch of its first dedicated travel website, www.travel.dk.com, which will bring its award-winning travel guides to the online community.
February will also see the publication of the 100th DK Eyewitness Travel Guide which will focus on the bewitching cities of Beijing and Shanghai.
Marking a busy spring for the publishing giant, DK has also announced a March publication date for eight Real City Guides, a fresh, up to date, beautifully photographed and user friendly series of books custom-made to help the savvy traveller experience the real soul and pace of foreign climes. Each guide is supported by its own website and the series will initially cover New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Rome, Barcelona, Berlin, Paris and London.
